Best Cafés to Hangout in Melbourne

Essay Writing Help in Australia

Australia is so far away from the rest of the ‘Angmoh world,’ you may not expect it to have such a developed café culture. One of my favourite things about Melbourne cafés is how basic everything is, from the décor to the menu to the coffee. It never ceases to surprise me how easily baristas and chefs can extract so much flavour and texture from the most basic ingredients.

Ambiance is just as essential as taste and quality when it comes to assessing cafés. Well, it’s sure we’ve all complained about Singapore cafés being “step” (i.e., pompous or want to be for the older generation).

In Australian cafés, though, nothing feels out of place– or perhaps, too preoccupied with the excellent cuisine to notice.

Let’s have a look at the best cafes across Melbourne:

Cafe Lafayette

Brunch with a view is available at Café Lafayette. This is a brunch experience like no other, with its window seats facing the sea. Check out the menu for some inexpensive nibbles and enjoy a peaceful morning people-watching while sipping some excellent coffee.

The match hotcakes are ideal for those with a sweet appetite or go for the scrambled eggs for a quick yet delicious brunch. If you’re feeling very daring, get a bizarre milkshake.

Cafe Lafayette also serves various Asian cuisine, so if you’re in the mood for Chinese, get some dim sum. After you’ve filled your stomach, head to the beach to relax or watch the sunset!

Excuse Coffee

This cute little establishment makes a fantastic cup of coffee! This little café seats less than ten people, allowing you to enjoy a peaceful morning while sipping your coffee! Grab a snack from the counter, such as some sweet sweets.

If you’re in the mood for something sweet, go for the donuts; if you’re in the mood for something savory, go for the croissants. Also delicious are the gluten-free cookies.Pardon Coffee is recognized for dependably outstanding coffee, and they didn’t let us down this time!

Proud Mary Coffee

If you enjoy filter coffee, this is a must-visit! I received my in the ‘La Guachoca’ mix from El Salvador, along with an Apricot & Fig toast to go with it. The coffee had a zesty taste, and the toast was wonderful! It was completely coated with raisins, apricots, or figs and the light citrus mascarpone served alongside it helped to balance off the rich flavors.

You may enjoy a pleasant morning walk through the peaceful garden towards the city while sipping on the light-bodied coffee, which is located near Fitzroy garden.

Hanging out in Melbourne is as fun as studying in Melbourne,” say a student from South Africa and working as an online assignment helper in Melbourne.

Sensory Lab Specialty Coffee

This is a fantastic location to stop after a long day of shopping because it is right in the middle of the city. Along with my coffee, I received a pretty unique chocolate bar (vegan and gluten-free), which was delicious.

It was so jam-packed with goodies that it didn’t even taste like a chocolate bar. My first mouthful contained dry coconut pieces, the second had crunchy almonds, and the third had crisps, perhaps even granola – it was all about the crunch.

This is another one of those go-to coffee shops with a reputation for reliability.

Specialty Coffee with 7 Seeds

7 Seeds, which is only a 5-minute walk from Queen Victoria Market, is the ideal stop for your morning caffeine fix before going over to the market or a much-needed afternoon fuel before a night at the night market. I had my normal flat white, which was basic but delicious.

To go with your daily cup of tea, get a basic spiced fruit toast for $8AUD. With a stylish blue façade in the middle of a pretty uninteresting street, you won’t have any trouble finding this café.

Dead Man Espresso

Unlike other Melbourne black coffees, Dead Man’s long black has significantly lower acidity. If you’re someone who alternates between a long black and a flat white all the time, this one could be for you. The espresso dominates the flavour without being overwhelming; this is without a doubt my favorite coffee shop.

To go with the coffee, I had scrambled eggs, which were also wonderful. This café is also conveniently placed near the South Melbourne Market.

8-bit graphics life

The jalapeño-filled hotdog was concealed behind a large quantity of chili beef, and this bomb of a combination was served with cheese sauce on a soft bun. It had me at the first taste. That certainly explains the line.

The burgers, on the other hand, appeared to be a more popular option. You could have dinner – or perhaps supper – here because most cafés close before dinner time.

Bagels (brown)

Brown Bagels has nestled away in a busy alleyway, and it was calm and virtually empty, in contrast to the midday crowd at the adjacent cafés. Regardless, I went ahead and ordered a spicy chicken bagel. A simple bagel was delicately tossed in poppy seeds before being topped with mozzarella-coated spicy chicken and gherkin.

The chicken was marinated in a Korean manner, and it was delicious.

Manchester Press

Manchester Press, a café you CANNOT miss if you’re in Melbourne, is just around the corner from Brother Baba Budan and right in the center of the city. MP is difficult to miss, as colorful graffiti streets surround it. I’m not joking when I say the bagels are out of this world.

Manchester Press may have a tough time competing with this hidden gem! This is a MUST-VISIT if you ever find yourself in Melbourne! It’s a go-to lunch location because it’s situated in the center of the main retail lanes.

Mel’s Maple Mayhem will suffice. So it may appear easy – a toasted blueberry bagel topped with bananas and bacon and a massive dollop of mascarpone drenched in thick maple syrup – but DON’T BE FOOLED because this is the BEST BAGEL you’ll ever taste.
